Every day most of us have to deal with websites which are broken, flaky, visually-jarring or just plain frustrating to use.
Being unable to avoid these websites, the next best thing is to imagine them slowly burning down`as you use them. This is where BurnTheSite comes in!

Just add http://burnthesite.com/ in front of any website to watch it burn - for example, http://burnthesite.com/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming.

Burn A Site!

Enter the address of a site you'd like to see burn and hit the button below to see it go up in flames!

- I don't get it. What's the point in this site?
There's no point to this whatsoever, it's just a bit of fun. Indulge your pyromaniacal tendencies in your browser rather than in the real world!
The original idea was inspired by Bacolicio.us, a similar idea which adds a strip of tasty-looking bacon to any website.

- What's the quickest way to burn a site?
Just add "http://burnthesite.com/" in front of any web address. Alternatively, drag the BurnTheSite bookmarklet to your browser's bookmarks bar, or right-click and "Save Link". Clicking this on any site will automatically burn it to the ground. Kind of.

- I can't burn facebook or twitter. What gives?
This site works by iframing the site you wish to burn. Security issues mean that both twitter and facebook prevent their sites from being iframed. You'll have to make do with a print out and matches if you want to burn these sites.
